About Reiki
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a holistic healing practice, where "Rei" means spiritual wisdom and "ki" means life force energy.
When the energy in our body is out of balance or alignment with our true essence, it can manifest in a variety of ways including illness and pain. Reiki works at an energetic level to rebalance the body. It is important to know that the practitioner is not "healing your body" but simply using their body as a conduit to help your body accelerate its own healing process. It can treat a person physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually and no two sessions are the same. Reiki is a complementary form of treatment alongside medical and other therapeutic practices.
About the Sessions

All sessions are held remotely, allowing you to receive from the comfort of your home or wherever you feel most at ease—even on the go. All sessions include an intuitive reading that explores your chakras or areas of discomfort, highlighting imbalances and illuminating a supportive path forward with guidance to help you move ahead with clarity.​

Adult sessions are conducted on Zoom. If you would like a session to be conducted without the zoom feature, please inform me as it is easy to arrange this. Adult sessions will always include the use of oracle cards.

Animal and child sessions are not conducted on Zoom. I connect with the energy of the child or animal that the session is booked for, at the time of the booking. An intuitive reading is included for these bookings, and oracle cards are sometimes incorporated. The adult who has booked the session will receive session notes, an audio note and any cards pulled if applicable following the session.

For a child session, packages include free check in phone calls. A check in Zoom call following an individual session for a child can be provided at an additional rate of $15 as it will add time to the length of the service.

After booking a session, you will be emailed information regarding your session. This will include your booking time, a Zoom link if applicable and how to prepare. For adult sessions, it is recommended that you relax during, as you will get the most out of the treatment this way. However, as mentioned before, if you cannot relax at the booking time, you will still receive the reiki treatment.

Sensations During Treatment:

Tingling, heat, cold, overall sense of calm and peace, and/or emotional release (such as crying and emotions that emerge and release quickly).

Feeling very light like a feather or heavy like you are sinking into whatever you are laying on.

If laying down, you may get visuals or fall asleep.
Following The Treatment:

Drink a lot of water to flush anything moving through your body and rest when you can.

Immediately following treatment - you may still feel tingly, feel lighter than usual or have other body symptoms.

Depending on what is moved, for up to 3 days following treatment you may experience: fatigue, heightened emotions (anger, sadness, crying, etc), headaches or other aches and pains as the energy balances.

Try to allow your body to feel and work through anything releasing.
